Power Factor Panel
General Features
In general terms, for doing the same useful work (KW), the apparent
power (KVA), increases in inverse ratio to the power factor. Since the
size of generating plants, transformers, switch gears, cables and
conductors are all determined by the KVA capacity, a low PF would mean
the installation of larger equipment all along the system for a given
kilowatt capacity.
Hence the necessity of an Automatic Power Factor Controller.
We have the proficiency to assess the exact requirement and design the most suitable combinations.
The off and on load parameters of the proposed unit are thoroughly
studied and then a system is designed so as to effectively compensate
the varying conditions.
The PF is maintained near unity always, avoiding board penalties. The pay back period will be 8 to 10 months.
